I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, practicing out of South Orange County. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Washington, and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Orange, CA.  I am experienced in treating individuals, couples and group therapy, having worked in county family mental health, intimate partner violence non-profit outpatient clinic Laura’s House, and private practice.

After experiencing the emotional twists and turns of parenting my own son, who has a rare genetic disorder called Cabezas Syndrome, I have realized there is a great need for psychotherapy tailored for the special needs parent, and it is my joy to give you a space to reconnect to yourself or your partner.

In my personal time, I enjoy adventuring with my family and finding the special hidden gems that Southern California has to offer from the sea to the desert. I’m an avid reader, or, well, I used to be, as I am lucky if I can actually make it through a book these days with my busy  family! I have practiced yoga for almost 25 years, and mantra meditation for 6 years, which is how I get through my own days.

I look forward to meeting you!
